Center za psihodiagnostična sredstva is the biggest publisher of psychological tests in Slovenia. It was founded in 1998, but its origins go back to 1960. We are committed to reach high quality of tests and psychological testing according to international standards. We have been actively involved in Slovenian Psychologists’ Association, where our employees serve as members of Commission on Psychodiagnostic Instruments and Commission on Ethical Issues. Since 1996, we have been members of International Test Commission (ITC), and since 2007, also members of European Test Publishers Group (ETPG).

We publish 2 to 3 new test per year and so far, we have published around 70 tests, most of them are paper-and-pencil, for some we also have e-versions. Some of the tests have Slovenian authors, but most of them are adapted and standardized from different cultural environments, for example from the USA, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Australia.

In addition to publishing, we organize trainings for different instruments. Some, we conduct by ourselves, for more specialized we invite different Slovenian and international trainers.

Most of the time we have two psychologists available, and carry out assessments at least twice a week. It is mostly for purposes such as talent assessment of adults or children and career planning.

We invite people to our TESTcenter in order to gather data for standardization of tests that we are adapting.

In the TESTcenter we have perfect conditions for different kinds of assessments – from group paper-and-pencil, computerized or individual testing to assessment/development centres for groups (best for 15 to 20 people per group).

We have a special room for computerized testing, a proctor room and waiting room. As far as we know, we are first in Slovenia that have a testing center, which is organized and equipped according to the highest standards of supervision and monitoring (so-called “managed mode” (by the ITC)).

TESTcenter is also available for rent. It could be all rooms, separate rooms, a psychologist to supervise psychological testing/discussing results/scoring tests/interviewing candidates/writing reports, computers, tablets, fireproof storage for your documentation, psychological tests while using our premises…

It is also possible to supervise testees while they are filling out your computerized test – we will get you a confirmation so you will be sure that the person was identified, and attended the assessment under supervision and that results are reliable in this regard.

We comply with international professional standards so that test-takers and assessors have everything they need to work best. There is an elevator in the building so the access is possible also for the wheelchairs. There are always hot and cold drinks available.
